Wire Rebar Chairs (also known as Steel Mesh Supports or Wire Spacers) are manufactured from hard drawn wire. These wire spacers are used to provide support for reinforcing mesh and bar when laying concrete slab or formwork. The legs on each wire spacer is protected with a film of plastic preventing rust from creeping into the concrete, a common problem known as "concrete cancer".
